Facebook Group for Literature Circle Lovers

I have some exciting news to share about Classroom Book Clubs! I LOVE this approach to Literature Circles because it's easy, fun, and very effective.

It's different from traditional forms of Literature Circles because this format doesn't involve assigning roles to group members and it doesn't burden kids with piles of written assignments.

What the Classroom Book Clubs strategy DOES do is to get kids talking about books and excited about reading!

You can learn more about how the program works on my Classroom Book Clubs page, and by watching the introductory video you'll find there.

I also love Facebook groups, so I've just started a Classroom Book Clubs Facebook group for teachers who want to share ideas and strategies for this approach to Literature Circles.

This group is going to be a great place to discuss appropriate books, share ideas for classroom management, and share how teachers are adapting the program to fit their individual needs. You'll be able to ask questions about Classroom Book Clubs and get support from other group members.

How to Apply for Membership
Because Classroom Book Clubs is a unique approach to Literature Circles, membership is limited to those who have purchased the Classroom Book Clubs program. Think of it as a bonus that comes with your purchase, a nice little perk that will provide additional support whether you're just getting started or  you've used the program for years!

If you are interested in joining the group but have not purchased the program, you can learn about it on my Classroom Book Clubs page. Then purchase one of the eligible products listed below. I don't have access to TpT buyers' email addresses, so those who apply for membership will need to find their receipt of purchase and forward it to laura@classroombookclubs.com. If you bought one of the eligible products from my website before I joined TpT, you're still able to join as long as I can verify your purchase.

Eligible Classroom Book Club Products

Here's What to Do
1. Email your receipt of purchase to me at laura@classroombookclubs.com
2. Fill out this this Google Doc form with your contact information.
3. Go to the Classroom Book Clubs Facebook Group and click the Join button to request membership. I'll have to verify your purchase before adding you, so your membership might be pending for up to 24 hours.

Classroom Book Clubs Printables Update
As I shared last week, I recently updated the printables that go with Classroom Book Clubs. If you purchased the product from TpT, you can download the updated printables from your My Purchases page. I'm also planning to post the updated printables in the Facebook group, and those who purchased Classroom Book Clubs from my site before TpT will be able to find them there.

I'm looking forward to starting this new Classroom Book Clubs adventure and connecting with other teachers who love Literature Circles! I hope you'll join me on this journey!
